Finance Montréal launches its Parcours numérique Québec-France

The FinTech Station has launched its Parcours numérique Québec-France, a support and exchange program designed to help FinTechs better understand the Quebec and French markets and initiate business relationships with the goal of exporting.

Launched on February 3, 2021, the first cohort will be dedicated to fintechs working in sustainable finance and will allow Quebec and French entrepreneurs to understand the foreign market and acquire all the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in their export. A second cohort dedicated to financial technologies will be announced shortly.

The program includes:

  • 8 weeks of group workshops to learn everything you need to know about exporting to foreign markets
  • Individual follow-up time with experts (lawyers, regulators, consultants, mentors, etc.)
  • Exclusive meetings with key actors of the local scene
  • Support throughout the program to develop your export plan
  • Optional workshops to enhance your interpersonal skills in the context of an export plan
  • Working document for the 8 weeks
  • Facilitator and expert contact sheet
  • Introductions to financial executives and investors
  • Sponsorship from a local start-up
  • Mentor and/or coach
  • Access to the Élo mentoring program
  • Program completion certificate
